Nutrition Response Testing

Your Body Is Unique. Your Wellness Plan Should Be, Too.

Tired of guessing what your body needs?

  • Maybe you're exhausted even after a full night's sleep. Your digestion doesn't seem to work the way it used to. Your energy is unpredictable, your mind feels foggy, or you simply don't feel like yourself anymore.
  • You've tried eating better. You've bought supplements. You've followed wellness advice that worked wonderfully for someone else.

But you're still wondering: Where do I even begin

You don't have to figure everything out on your own.

At Nikao Total Health, we believe your wellness journey deserves more than a one-size-fits-all approach.

Through Nutrition Response Testing, we take time to explore your health history, discuss your concerns, and develop an individualized plan for nutritional and lifestyle support.

Could NRT be right for you?

Low Energy and Fatigue

You feel drained, struggle to maintain your energy throughout the day, or wonder why you never seem fully refreshed.

Brain Fog and Difficulty Concentrating

You want to explore how nutrition, sleep, stress, and daily routines may be affecting your mental clarity.

Digestive Discomfort

Bloating, irregularity, or uncomfortable digestion has you wondering whether changes to your eating habits could help.

Changes in Weight or Metabolism

Your body seems to be changing, especially after 40, and you want a sustainable approach to your nutritional habits.

Stress and Feeling Overwhelmed

You recognize that your emotional well-being, physical habits, and everyday stress all deserve attention.

Confusion About Supplements

You're tired of buying products based on advertisements, trends, or recommendations that aren't tailored to your situation.

You don't have to wait until you're completely overwhelmed to start taking better care of yourself.  Whether you're beginning your wellness journey or looking for a more individualized approach, we're here to help you explore your options.

What Happens During Your First NRT Appointment?

Your first visit is about getting to know you, understanding your concerns, and
identifying realistic next steps.

  • Step 1: We Listen to Your Story.  We'll discuss your health history, current concerns, lifestyle, nutrition, supplements, and what you hope to accomplish. This is your opportunity to share what you've been experiencing.
  • Step 2: We Perform the NRT Assessment. We'll explain and perform the gentle manual muscle testing process, with your consent. You can ask questions or stop the assessment at any time.
  • Step 3: We Discuss Personalized Recommendations. Together, we'll review potential nutrition and lifestyle changes, including whether additional dietary support or supplements are worth considering. Recommendations are not diagnoses and do not replace appropriate medical testing.
  • Step 4: You Leave With a Plan. You'll have a clearer understanding of the wellness habits you can work on, practical next steps, and whether a follow-up consultation would be helpful.

Body, Soul and Spirit

At Nikao Total Health, we believe wellness is about more than what you eat or the supplements you take.

Your physical health, emotional well-being, daily habits, and spiritual life are all important parts of your overall wellness.

That's why we offer a variety of complementary services, including:

  • nutrition consulting
  • assisted stretching
  • emotion release sessions
  • BAUD sound therapy
  • tuning fork sound sessions.

These services are optional and can be discussed based on your interests and goals. Our heart is to help you pursue wellness with greater confidence, intention, and support.

Faq.

Does NRT hurt?

No. Nutrition Response Testing is a gentle, noninvasive process that uses light pressure on a muscle to observe its response. There are no needles, blood draws, or uncomfortable procedures involved. If you have an injury or physical limitation, we can discuss that before beginning.

Is NRT the same as bloodwork?

No. Bloodwork measures specific biological markers and can help healthcare professionals diagnose medical conditions or identify nutritional deficiencies. Nutrition Response Testing uses manual muscle testing as part of an alternative wellness assessment. It is not a replacement for bloodwork or medical testing and has not been scientifically validated to diagnose nutritional deficiencies or health conditions.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

We recommend bringing a list of any medications and supplements you're currently taking, along with any questions or health concerns you'd like to discuss.

If you have recent bloodwork or other laboratory results, you're welcome to bring those as background information as our practitioner is trainied to read and interpret lab work as part of the whole health picture.

Most importantly, come prepared to share your health history, your wellness goals, and what you'd most like to improve about your daily well-being.

How often will I need follow up appointments?

Everyone's wellness journey is different!

Follow-up appointments are generally shorter than your initial consultation and provide an opportunity to discuss your progress, review your nutritional habits, and make adjustments to your wellness plan.

We'll discuss follow-up options based on your individual goals and preferences. There is no required ongoing appointment schedule.

Do I have to buy supplements?

Absolutely not! Your consultation does not obligate you to purchase anything.

At Nikao Total Health, we may recommend nutritional products from Standard Process or MediHerb as part of your personalized wellness plan. However, any supplement purchase is completely optional.

Our goal is to help you make informed decisions about your health, not pressure you into purchasing products.

Can I receive services online?

Nikao Total Health offers both in-person and online wellness services.

Because traditional Nutrition Response Testing involves hands-on muscle testing, the assessment itself is generally performed in person.

However, online nutrition consultations and wellness support may be available for those who cannot visit our office.

Contact us to discuss which option would be the best fit for your needs.

You don't have to have it all figured out to take the first step.

Maybe you've been putting yourself last for years.

Maybe you've been so busy caring for everyone else that you haven't had time to think about what you need.

Or maybe you're simply ready to be more intentional about your health.

Whatever brought you here, we're glad you found us.

At Nikao Total Health, we'll meet you where you are, listen to your concerns, and help you explore practical ways to support your wellness.

Your next chapter can begin with one intentional step.

Important: Nutrition Response Testing is a complementary wellness practice, not an established medical diagnostic procedure. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Our services do not replace medical care. Consult your licensed healthcare professional for evaluation of symptoms, medication questions, and medical treatment decisions.
